MTGTNA’S MAE division is designed to assist Brokers/Owners and Managers in their daily business operations. Our mission is to elevate the level of professionalism in the mortgage lending industry by offering our expert professional services. The MAE Division provides a means for mortgage professionals to receive relevant knowledge and guidance to grow their business and their success.
The following are the services available for your office:
In-house training - Mortgage Trainers will conduct private classes in your office or specified location. In-house training eliminates the need to coordinate travel arrangements, and gives the company input on material that can be customize for the company's specific needs. This gives your company some control of the course material while still meeting educational requirements by the State*.
In-house education is an employee benefit, as well as management benefit by directing what specific issues they will learn. Having in-house training will help to keep audit problems to a minimum. Properly educated loan officers will understand your policies and procedures, understand industry standards, and know how to properly package a borrower's loan.
Learning from professional industry experienced trainers brings the knowledge to life. Reading from a text is never the same as hearing it from people who have lived the business, and used the information in their own daily work. Each of our instructors has many years of training and mortgage industry experience. Course material is also updated quarterly to ensure accuracy.
Training Example: How about offering to your loan originators the Processing from the Loan Originators Point of View course so they will understand what it takes to submit a file to processing and how to identify problems with the borrower's situation. Or offer the Commercial class and expand your company’s market base of clients. Or offer the Loan Originator Essentials course to teach your newer loan originators how to have an efficient borrower interview and ethically package their deals for a higher approval ratios.
Office pre-audits – (Currently available in Nevada only) The MAE division offers Quality Control support services. Our staff can perform pre-audits to identify any potential problems with industry and state compliance. MTGTNA offers non-attorney advise with a compliance focus to assist in your quality control procedures. The pre-audit will give you a report on the findings and suggested recommendations to overcome any issues discovered.
Administrative Assistance – The MAE division offers templates for Policy and Procedure manuals, Quality Control manual, and Loan Originator employment agreements. When requested we can help you develop these manuals and contracts to meet your company needs.
State Licensing – The MAE division offers assistance in completing the state licensing paperwork in most states. We will provide you with a complete list of all required information needed to complete the state package, prepare any and all documents necessary to apply and obtain registration as a mortgage broker, including when necessary registration as a corporation or entity, registration of agent service, or documents to obtain a bond.
