I passed my state test thanks to you and your great class. Thanks for your help.
— Justiel Hawkins, Contract Processor & MLOI passed my Nevada exam. The study material packet you gave was great. That along with my national study prep I had previously really prepared me well. All 4 of us who have taken exam have passed with an 80% or better. Thanks again.
— John Vigliotti, MLOI just want to take a minute to commend you on awesome online products. I have never taken an online or classroom CE class that I felt more comfortable with, in fact I can’t remember one I have enjoyed as much. “Mortgage Trainers of North America” will be my school for the foreseeable future. Thank you.
— Lemuel Rucker, MLOI used to study CE on line before I met you. Sometimes in the class has fun. Thanks. Your class is better than just read. I like the way you do. It feels I am in the live class. I always study at mid night so I can still do my normal business during the day time.
— Shiow Chyn (Susan) Chiang, MLOI’ve already told 4 other MLOs about your course. It was the best deal out there. I looked all over an most places charge like $120 or more for the 8 hours online course.
— Scott Cheng, Broker Cheng RealtyI made it through the conversion. I passed both tests on the first attempt and I want to say “thank you” for making me understand that these tests needed some time in studying to pass. I took your professional advice and was successful. I see so many failing these tests – they are starting to study on a Saturday when their test is Monday morning at 9:30 a.m. I have been in the industry for 39 years and I have done just about every job there is in the industry, BUT the tests are about all of the new changes. And the test isn’t just about WHAT we study it is about the APPLICATION of what we study. So, Linda, have a Merry Christmas, and keep up the good work….some of actually listen to the teacher!
— Debra S. Johnson, MLO -Skofed Mortgage Funding Corp.Lova and I took the test this morning…scores were 90 and 94….that’s 92 and 95 right, respectively. Your course was all that was needed…we are glad we attended. Your review questions, past and recent, were most helpful. Thanks for all your help.
— Bryce R.June 22, 2010 – I passed my Nevada exam today. 89%. The study material packet you gave was great. That along with my national study prep I had previously really prepared me well. Thanks again.
— John Vigliotti, New JerseyWith all of the licensing changes taking place in the lending industry, it is nice to know there is someone we can rely on to get up to date information. Linda Williams is great at what she does and delivers information to Loan Officers that we can rely on. Mortgage Trainers of North America is a great organization for continuing education courses and Linda is the best to work with locally. She always makes herself available.
— Casey Moseman, CMPS®, Residential Capital Mortgage, Henderson, NVThe Secret of Mortgage Lending Success (our published book in the Book Store) is a necessary resource for anyone interested in pursuing a successful career in the mortgage industry. The text is clear, precise, and loaded with current laws and procedures essential for mortgage transactions. There is nothing comparable in the market today.
— Sharon Myers, Omaha NEThe courses offered contain pertinent, updated information necessary to succeed in today’s changing mortgage industry, and the instructors present the material so that it is clear and easily understood.
— Rosemary Fischer Murphy, Gainsville, TXThe data provided by MTNA on the mortgage industry is thoroughly informative. Each aspect of the mortgage process is carefully prepared and written in a format that is easily digestible to anyone considering a career in this field. Updated to meet today’s rigorous lending practices, this tutorial should be on every novice’s must have tool kit. The mortgage landscape has gone through a dramatic downsizing recently. Any lender/broker deliberating a start up or expansion in this now fertile areana should begin with this exceptional instruction mechanism.
— Brian Carl, Seatle WARoger (the instructor) did a fantastic job during training. We tested his patience at times, and he took it like a champ. Roger took the time to make sure we understood the subject matter, and with a personality that I enjoyed. Being out of the business for the past few years, I was not fully aware of all the changes. I found myself searching my mind for answers that used to come naturally. The class interaction would not have been effective without Roger’s leadership.
— Thank you, Tom LeeThank you for all your help and I look forward to taking my continuing education with your firm.
— NeenaI have requested that all my employees use your services for licensing. This is a very easy program to use and your came very highly recommended by Cathy.
— MarcoThe data provided by MTGTNA on the mortgage industry is thoroughly informative. Each aspect of the mortgage process is carefully prepared and written in a format that is easily digestible to anyone considering a career in this field.
— Brian Carl, Mortgage Broker, CRS Holdings, Seattle, WAI have been in the industry for almost 20 years and am licensed in 25 states and I was just discussing your class with my licensing manager. I must say these are by far the best materials I have ever come across. I spend a lot of time each year with renewals and new licensing classes since we are adding new states all the time. I also am enjoying this as an audio class too. Most of the online classes are all just reading and clicking and having to sit on each page for a certain amount of time. There is no reason when you can read a paragraph in ten seconds that you must wait one minute to move to the next screen. Congratulations on your system and you should be very proud of your product.
— Eric L. Weight, Branch Manager American Mortgage Specialist, Inc.I really cannot tell you how helpful you have been in helping me get through some licensing issues with the state of Nevada. Two instances in particular stand out in my mind.
— Lew Carr, Mann Mortgage
First, I absent mindedly neglected to renew my current Nevada License ahead of time. I realized on the last day that I needed 5 hours of Education Hours in order to satisfy my renewal requirements. Mortgage Trainers of North America supplied me with the required classes that morning. I completed the classes, drove to Carson City, Paid the renewal fees, and avoided any potential penalties (or missed applications). Linda Williams was very helpful in making sure I had the classes, passwords, etc. to make sure it went smoothly.
Second, I was informed by my companies “License Compliance Department” that MLD was requiring me to complete an additional 10 hours of CE classes in order to fulfill the transition to NMLS. I did not believe that I was short of hours but MLD insisted that I was still in need of 10 hours of CE. I e-mailed back and forth with two individuals from MLD over the course of about two weeks. They could not give me a straight answer as to what classes I needed to take to be caught up. I finally gave in and started looking for classes to take (guessing what I needed). I e-mailed Linda Williams and asked her to assist me in determining what would be the best classes that MTGTNA had to offer. Linda looked at what I had already completed, Quizzed me on what MLD was asking me to do, and literally wrote a response for me to send to MLD to get clarification of what was being required. I am happy to say MLD’s response was that I had already done enough CE classes to be compliant with NMLS and MLD.
Linda saved me at least 10 hours of time as well as whatever cost MTGMTA’s classes would have been. This transition is very new to everyone involved. Any Broker, Loan Officer, or Compliance Department Personnel would be very wise to take advantage of MTGTNA’s expertise in navigating through the new licensing maze.
Thank you Linda!
A customer for as long as I am in the mortgage business!I want to thank you for your excellent study guide. I registered for the test a while back and forgot that it was yesterday. In a fever I downloaded your study guide and started studying late Friday night. Although I have been an originator for 15 years, I have not originated loans for the last 2 so I was, to say the least, rusty. Well, it wasn’t the grade I am used to (perfect 4.0 in my first Masters and on the way to a 4.0 in the one I am doing now) I passed with an 85% on the national portion. .
— David P Wagner, MLOI would like to make some comments on the 30 hours of continuing education class requirement presented by Linda Williams of Mortgage Trainers of North America.
— David A. Ballstadt, Mortgage Planner, Primary Residential Mortgage, Inc., Las Vegas, NV
I just completed the 30 hour course that is required by the MLD of the State of Nevada. I chose to take the live course rather than the computer class or the test. I have been a mortgage loan officer for several years and have been in home financing for a much longer period of time (over 30 years in total).
In my opinion I made the correct choice. Being in a live classroom setting allowed for real time questions to be answered and the interchange between loan officers and Linda was invaluable.
The information that was presented was up to date, which is not small chore with the ever changing laws that we are presently experiencing.
Linda has such a vast knowledge base of mortgage lending and presents it in a very refreshing manner. Not only does she bring information from a loan officer perspective but from an underwriters view as well as a lenders view. She has done it all and she really imparts her knowledge to the class. I really want to thank Linda for the experience of learning that she provided to me and our class this week.I wanted to thank you for holding classes in Reno Nevada this week and last year so I could take advantage of the live instruction. I actually prefer the live sessions rather than on-line.
— Mr. Deane Harlow, American Capital Mortgage, Reno, NV
I found your class on Mortgage Origination Nevada Law very interesting and informative. There were a few things that were new to me even when I have been in the business over 35 years. Our industry is faced with a lot of challenges along with survival.
I appreciate your efforts and the time you take to keep updated with all of these changes.
